So I am not being too good at this updating, fresh material, witty repartee thing. I would love to come up with some wonderfully exciting reason for this, like I got so caught up packing and booking tickets for my next overseas assignment that I totally forgot to blog. Sadly the truth is I had nothing to say , or at least nothing worth blogging about.

The good news is I am blogging tonight with fabulous hair thanks to the wonderful Julia. The even better news is she has decided against moving back to the UK so I get to keep her !! I swear my follicles broke into the Hallelujah Chorus when she told me this morning. Then as if my morning couldn't get any better I went straight from seeing her to my favourite coffee shop and exited bearing FREE coffee and a slice of divine citrus tart. I even had the money out prepared to pay but the lovely day manager just shook his hands and said no no put that away. Alrighty then !

Driving home I was in such high spirits I was sure my phone would ring and someone would be telling me I had 10 days to get my stuff in order before I had to be in LA to be part of a tv show. ( okay this DID happen to me once so it was still in the realms of possibility !) Sadly the phone didn't ring but I still have fabulous hair and the tart was heavenly.

Talking of L.A. ( was that a great segueway or what ! ) I did have an email that put a smile on my face, letting me know that Shephard from Shephards Alley had been by my blog and let me know he had updates on the press conference for Disney that he had just been to. I am not sure if it was too much free coffee or just the fact that I am a huge Disney fangirl but his latest posts ( read back a few) had me squeeing like a little girl at a Hannah Montana concert. So if you are one of my readers who is also one of my "Disney friends" walk don't run to Shephards and read the lastest.

With that I must sign off because I have several hungry people to feed. I didn't save them any tart, because I am selfish that way.
